Experience the adventure

At the Taj Majal, Tiananmen gate of the Forbidden City, and Lake Matheson, New Zealand.

The Working Traveller

This blog covers a large period of my life; from being one the chaps on tour doing all manner of foolish things, to more responsible travel as a father.

I started posting in the pre-social media age, sharing photos with friends I had holidayed with. I was usually the one carrying the camera and as time progressed I began combining a passion for capturing moments, exploration and history too.

Read on and experience the wondrous and not so wondrous offerings of the world, and read about the antics (some) of a fool abroad.

On top of Bali and Mount Batur, diving in the Philippines, touring New Zealand.

Destinations

I've been here. I want to go back here, and I want to go here next. If it's grey, it might be one for the future.

Hi! I’ve been travelling since the 90's and have visited 48 countries - not many really when the world has over 240 countries and states.

I'm lucky in that I live abroad, so for me, even with COVID devastating the world, the travel experience hasn't really gone away. Anyway, I can't wait to share more of my experiences, drop me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP.
